Architectural SPECIAL EDITIONS

The British Architectural Library's Drawings Collection is the largest and most important collection of British architectural drawings in the world. There are almost 700,000 drawings, mostly (though not entirely) British. Significant foreign groups include the majority of Andrea Palladio's surviving drawings, 17th and 18th century Italian and French stage designs, a wide-ranging Indian collection and drawings from Royal Gold Medallists that include Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe.

The Collection celebrates the achievements of British architects from the Renaissance to the present day. There are also a great number of topographical drawings, mostly by architects, recording architectural and other subjects from antiquity, the mediaeval period and later.
